Wild Awake organic threads are born from the same fire that fuels my life — a deep devotion to walking lightly on the Earth. Fast fashion ranks in the highest of environmental impact industries. Wild awake is dedicated to creating slow sustainable solutions, sourcing all our materials meticulously and prioritising organic processes without sacrificing style, soul, self-expression or sophistication.

Our Roots
I first learned to sew on the farm as a young child, under the gentle guidance of my Nanna. As a teenager, I struggled to find clothes that truly reflected my style — so I began cutting up fabric scraps and repurposing op-shop finds into pieces that matched my authentic expression.

Later in life, living off-grid and tinkering away on my pedal-powered sewing machine, I realised that most of the prints and silhouettes I loved were made from synthetics — while the majority of organic, eco-conscious clothing felt generic and lacked individuality.

Wild Awake Designs was born to weave bridges between the two worlds — a merging of rich tones, striking artwork, and detailed design with earth-friendly fabrics and ethical practice.
Our Story
My quest to source the most earthy, eco-conscious fabrics and printing practices has taken me down many paths less travelled. From traditional palm-processing ceremonies in the plains of West Africa to remote mountain villages in Northern Vietnam, where I immersed myself in the ancient art of handmade hemp — every step guided by the seasons, and every thread passed through generations of skilled hands using time-honoured, primitive practices.

Our garments honour the rhythms of the earth. Every tone and thread derived from root, plant, bark or bloom. Every stitch is a gentle act of sovereignty, sustainability and centredness.
